Welcome to Mpkk Aquatics!

Hi, I’m a fellow reef hobbyist just like you. I started this small shop from my home in Wisconsin because I couldn’t find consistent, healthy macroalgae when I needed it for my own tanks.

My Story

Like many of you, I got into reef keeping over 10 years ago and quickly became obsessed. I struggled with high nitrates, nuisance algae outbreaks, and unstable parameters. Everything changed when I started using macroalgae — especially Caulerpa species like prolifera — in my refugium's and display tank's. They became my secret weapon for natural nutrient control while adding beautiful movement and color.

After growing macros successfully in my own setups, friends in my local reef club started asking for cuttings. What began as sharing a few pieces with fellow hobbyists slowly turned into this little home-based shop.

  • Keeping things simple and natural — no heavy chemicals, just good reef-keeping practices
